Minding the Gap will travel to Durham, North Carolina, this April for the 2018 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, running April 5-8.


Minding the Gap, winner of the Special Jury Prize for Breakthrough Filmmaking at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, will screen following a showcase of work by the recipients of the 2018 Garrett Scott Documentary Development Grant. Minding the Gap and Bing Liuwere recipients of the grant in 2017Minding the Gap is directed, produced and edited by Bing Liu, produced by Diane Moy Quon, and edited by Joshua Altman.

Minding the Gap follows three young men as they bond together to escape volatile families in their Rust Belt hometown. As they face adult responsibilities, unexpected revelations threaten their decade-long friendship.
