On Thursday the New York Film Critics Circle awarded Minding the Gap, directed by Bing Liu and produced by Diane Quon, the NYFCC's award for Best Documentary.

Most recently, Minding the Gap was named one of 2018's Top Five Documentaries by the National Board of Review and earned two Independent Spirit Award nominations, two pre-announced International Documentary Association (IDA) Awards for Emerging Filmmaker and Best Editing, and an IDA Award nomination for Best Feature.
